WINE SERIES

SYNOPSIS:     Petaluma Gap Winegrowers Alliance’s successful “Wine Night at the Movies” series, hosted at Petaluma’s Boulevard 14 Cinema, will be toasting the perfect end-of-summer experience with the pairing of THIRTY-SEVEN WINES and the classic hit film, STEEL MAGNOLIAS! This event will take place on Tuesday, September 6, starting at 6:30pm. Al and Lisa Brayton, proprietors of THIRTY-SEVEN WINES and the evening’s hosts and guest speakers, will be pouring and sharing some of their highly acclaimed wines at the start of the evening. While watching the film, guests will enjoy samples of Thirty-Seven Wines along with unlimited complementary gourmet popcorn. A representative from the Petaluma Gap American Viticultural Area (AVA) will be on-hand to share highlights about the AVA’s distinctive and award-winning wines. ABOUT WINE HOST – THIRTY-SEVEN WINES: Al Brayton attributes his love of winemaking to time spent in the late ‘70’s with family friend Father Tom Turnbull. Using grapes from already harvested vineyards and assisted by Father Tom and his neighbor Nathan Fay (often called the father of the Stags Leap District), Al made his first wine and put it in bottles recycled from the finest wineries in Napa Valley. In 1999, Al found and planted Paradise Vineyards, and with the help of his wife Lisa Brayton, launched Paradise View Wines in 2003, and Thirty-Seven Wines in 2007.
